My optic neuritis is a result of a bacterial infection and this week I will have a laser surgery to remove a blister behind my retina. It took a year and a half to figure this out.
A year ago, I was diagnosed with optic neuritis. I also had migraines and sinus infection prior to the onset. The MRI showed no MS legions, was told it could be an isolated incident. For three weeks, the vision loss was horrible, blurry, saw shadows move across my left eye, migraines. I started feeling better but my vision never was completely recovered. This week, I've had another flare up with terrible vision, migraines, and this time the left side of my face is tingly.
