@freakybusted they changed the name because of the space shuttle crash, obviously the name crash and burn was offensive so out of respect they changed it to you said no :)

Busted's first album wasn't released until 2002. 9/11 was the year before. The dates don't match - the album was pressed way after 9/11. If they changed of because of that they would have done it by then.

@Izadoraruby The name of this song wasn't changed due to 9/11. It was changed after the space shuttle columbia disaster on February 1st 2003, where the STS-107 spacecraft disintegrated during reentry into the Earth's atmosphere.

It was originally called Crash and Burn, and that's what it's credited as on the earlier printings of their Debut album "Busted" but after 9/11, they changed the title to "You Said No" because they didn't want to be disrespectful, and that is how it's credited on the later printings of their album.
