2009 was the second year of Tri for Life, a triathlon event aimed mainly at people who have never competed in a triathlon before. The event was held at Dorney Lake, Eton, UK. There were two distances to choose from - 400m swim, 20k cycle and 5k run, or 800m swim, 30k cycle and 7.5k run. People could enter as an individual or as part of a team. Over £140,000 was raised for various charities. There was also a scootathlon for the kids aged 4 to 8 (scoot, bike and run). The 2010 event will be taking place on Sunday 5th September.
