Hank did not have to wear a cowboy hat and cowboy boots, unlike those fakes today. All he had to do was sing and you knew damn well he was COUNTRY WESTERN......

This song is special to me as it takes me another time hanging out at my parents house cranking up old country greats by Hank through to Jim Reeves with Slim Whitman Cole Wilson Jimmy Rogers plus many more thrown in.
the new type of country music doesn't come close to the old greats such as Hank

One of the all time best country artist. I had 23 of his albums. This was from one of the best. Seems funny that it was on the RCA Camden label. They usually put songs on the Camden label that weren't considered good enough to wear the RCA label.

I have a Marty Robbins Spotlight TV show in which Hank guests and Marty tells Hank that he is his favorite singer. There's a nice touch on the show where Marty impersonates Hank and Hank can barely sing for laughing.
