@LivingHopeWorshiper you go for it. any service to any branch is a fine choice by me. i just enlisted national guard myself. i plan on switching to full active army if i like it enough.

Anyone know how long the guard special forces training is??? And what makes it different in anyway if any then anyother special forces units....???

@Trolls4Food I'm not knocking the guard I was set to join the guard in my state as a 11C 3rd Battalion - 172nd Infantry Regiment (Mountain) all I had to do was sign on the line. But what turned me off was the BS the recruiter was slinging to get me to join. Straight up lies! All tests after the ASVAB as open book! She would put in as two years I would do basic come home for a year and then go back and do AIT. On and on and On the BS was never ending!

@IrishPuglover3565 the 19th and 20th sfg are practically active. Plus you can volunteer for extra training oportunities in the guard if you got the time. thats the problem, most people in the guard have lives, so their doing two things at once which is pretty hard to do.
