Well it reminds me of standing on the pier at Cleethorpes with the tide coming in, sea air, wide eyed and legless then bouncing around on the bouncy floating floor for a few hours. I never did consider it Northern, t was just a brilliant modern sound. The type of sound Highland room and Cleggy were playing with. But so much pop started to be played which buggered the scene up. Wigan mainly. Ill never forgive them for Footsee/Wigans Ovation. Hurt alot of peeps.
