  • this alap allows-us, to "hear" the very soul, the mind, the art-of-music of this superb musician- ABSOLUTELY DEVINE!

  • a god of music, who left by far too early!

  • soft and tender finger majic by Indias greatest sitar players

  • divine melody rendered by nikhil banerjee

  • Masterfull . Obviously a very compassioate high consciousness.

  • straight up i'm not even indian but it pisses me off that people put pictures of the taj mahal in with classic hindu music... not to be a jerk i'm just saying get ur facts straight ya kno?

  • I think modern day arts should be interpreted in modern day language. Past historical relics should not be imposed on new works of art. It is to an extent showing ignorance of or disrespect to new artistic expressions.

  • With a raag called pahari a picture of Taj Mahal is quite inappropriate. I have seen quite a few such desperate attempts by some YouTube uploaders to throw in the picture of Taj Mahal with as many classical music as they possibly can. I wonder why they do that? Mughalifying modern day arts?

  • just beautiful, just devine-justNikhil Banerjee

  • Late Pandit Nikhil Banerjee's life was a spiritual journey with sitar. I am a great fan of him since my adolescence and each time I hear him playing it lifts me to a heavenly blissful feeling which is bery difficult to explain. Unlike many artists blowing their own trumpets, he always endeavoured to show humility and always excelled in expressing the spiritual side of the Indian classical music. He once said "Indian Classical music which does not fully express the spiritual aspect is no music"
