@jerry0o8 well i go by the definition of the words and professionalcomes from profession so for me a professional is someone who lives of his playing. so anybody who plays for fun (not saying that professional players are not having fun playing) is an amateur, so yeah i cover a wide variety of skill levels with just one word =) but what really matters is that she did a good job on the piece, isnt it ? If she calls herself an amateur and to you its semi pro, its still all god =)

@IAmKingHomey haha, good point buddy. Well I think there is another word for your view of amateurs, you are basically saying amateur ranges from newb status to almost professional right? I think Semi-Pro is better, lol I don't think Amateurs is not bad, but I think Amateur is just average, isn't it?

@jerry0o8 In all honesty, you underestimate amateurs. the problem is that everybody who can play one song calls himself an amateur, so people think that amateur is another word for goofing around. but if you think about it basicly anything below the level of a professional player like lang lang is amateur status. Im an amateur myself and i can play songs as difficult as this one and more difficult songs but i would never go so far and say i mastered any song and thats what a pro does
