Sins of a Solar Empire - How to Fight Outnumbered

I usually never FRAPS, and from the quality and FPS I get you can see why, but this was just so incredible that I had to take a recording of the replay.

Not pictured: Blue's carrier capital ship that died while his frigates were on the wrong side of the gravity well.

So how exactly does one fight outnumbered? Some freaking commentary saying what the F is going on might make this you know, useful?

I usually send in a huge fleet of crappy ships to make them believe its their main fleet versus mine. I let them win, and make half of the fleet retreat to a "random" location, which is actually filled with mines, starbase, turrets, and my real fleet. They are stuck there do to my gravity reducer, and are quickly deystroyed, lol.

What's the point of this? You have a fleet composed of the direct counter for the enemies fleet. Vasari units are better generally and you have capital support.

Umm I blew up like 70 cobalt frigites with 2 kortuls use the disintergration. I also had 15 enforcers with reintergration

fighting outnumbered is easy in this game, you focus on the biggest threats first then target the smaller ships
