Hero Worship - The Art of Bruce Timm

Bruce Timm, born in 1961, started in film before he came to comics. He worked on several animated shorts, doing layouts for various studios, until he joined Warner Brothers in 1989. He soon began doing one-shots and miniseries for comics, mostly for DC, and his Batman story won an Eisner Award in 1994 for the Best Single Story of the year. He's still heavily into animation, doing work on DC superheroes, but his continued comic book work has created a large following among comic fans. Music is from Antonin Dvorak's "Carnival Overture."

Yeah, and he kind of disrespected Wonder Woman & especially Hawkman.

Timm's a great artist I do agree, but he would've been a great visionary writer for Marvel Entertainment.... just not for DC Entertaiment.

Cool artwork.

Y' know, Bruce Timm is a great artist and such, but I didn't like how he treated Superman in Superman TAS and in JL/JLU. He kind of disrespected Superman during those shows.
