  • I`m lucky to have ever known this song existed. Local radio KQRS played this "obscure" song for a few weeks. That`s how I became aware of it. When the song began to be introduced as a tune by Crosby & Nash, I knew I had to start rolling...Sure enough, it was "Lay Me Down". Sadly, radio for the most part is not introducing these songs to a wider audience...Lost bliss...

  • This video was shot in Minneapolis on July 11, 2008. They put on a very fun and professional show...I have another one coming soon !

  • I'm a 29 year guy and I have listened to this music for the first time this week... I starded to cry while was listening it... Because this is a real beautiful song. Thanks C&N

  • Graham Nash remained friends with David Crosby through all his near death, drug fuelled years and perhaps helped saved the great man that is Dave Crosby and therefor kept alive such beautiful music as this. We all owe Graham Nash. Keep on rockin' boys FOREVER!

  • If you have ever had the honor and the privalege of finding your SOUL MATE, "Lay me Down" interprets to every expression of love. I recently reunited with mine and I am 58. It is never too late and you are never too old! Have hope and patience, it took us 2 decades. You will find each other.

  • In Spring, I went to see them in San Francisco. Along with hearing the beloved classics, this particular song mesmerized me, and I obtained the CD. My mother had been diagnosed with Stage Four cancer. I would drive down the highway to visit her, under the sparkling blue skies, seeing the bright green grasses and cows grazing on the hills near Stanford University on the way. I would cry hearing the words "lay me down", knowing my mother was on her way to leaving. Thank you, James Raymond.

  • @redfern44 There is soo much music that we will never hear and never be able to understand the meaning to that I try to listen to as much as I can. Allthough I am a Deadhead and have dedicated my life to trying to listen to all of thier show's and try to figure out what they were trying to do at the time of loosness, I still try to seek out music that is not very popular throughout today and yesterday. Have a great day. :)

  • I could listen to that all day long... and have.

    Nice.

  • Yes, it's true. I think our Lord already knew David was a music genius (and trouble too). That's why he decided to send Grahan Nash to meet David as his "flesh and bones" guardian angel. What a beautiful friendship story.....

  • This song was written by David's illegitimate son that he had no knowledge of until the son found him, and that was while he was in the hospital for his liver transplant. I'd say the son inherited some talent! :-)

  • yeeeeeeeeeeah

  • @MrNewspickle It really is a shame. This is true with many of the greats from the older generation. All the radio exposes to their audiences are the HITS, not the SUBSTANCE. There's so much that could be heard . . .

  • @1951tank an hour ago i finished reading croz 1st biography - unbelievable what nash did ... 1000 thumbs up ...

  • SO BEAUTIFUL
