This is Giant George:

He is the world's tallest dog, according to Guinness World Record.
He is a great dane who was born on November 17th, 2005.
He consumes 110 pounds of food every month and has to bend over to drink out of the kitchen faucet.
He sits on a chair like a human and sleeps on a Queen Size Bed ... alone.
He was on Oprah, and Regis and Kathy Lee.

What does it matter about the bigger the dog the shorter the lifespan? I rescued a great Dane at least he will live a good life!

He was measured at his neck and this video proves it at 0:11 however at withers he's a good 4 inches smaller.

yer i agree i would hate only havin a dog for a short time because u get so attached

the bigger the dog the shorter the lifespan. on average great danes only live till about 7 or 8. i would hate that.
