On Dec. 1st, less than 48 hours after the police eviction of Occupy Philly, about 70 people gathered for a previously scheduled event at the Wooden Shoe bookstore to talk about what the Occupy movement can do next.

Part 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVpyOBObrTY&feature=related) has remarks from Mark Engler, and Part 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C56oIos7AU8&feature=g-upl) has remarks from Cindy Milstein. This part has the discussion, which was the main focus of the event.
Sorry about the jerky moments in my video every once in a while. The discussion was a little subdued, because we were grieving the loss of our encampment. But you can attend the upcoming series of discussions that take "Strategizing Beyond Occupations" from here - starting Friday, Dec. 9th at 5:30pm at the Wooden Shoe. The focus for the first of the series will be direct democracy and the general assembly.
