@blaktivist Thankfully, not everyone (including me) has the mindset, desire, or wherewithal to be an entrepreneur. This is a good thing, actually: both roles are needed in commerce. I just wish there was a better national clearinghouse for jobs so that employers and employees can be matched up. The current system is based mainly on "who you know." With one job listing garnering upwards of 250 applicants, it's all very hit and miss (mostly miss) going thru the usual channels.
@AnnaLemmaMucosa good point. But that's what legislators are paid to do, no? What are you doing to build a way for you and others who don't have the benefit of the knowledge you have? If you've got that degree, why not start your own green business and take a leadership position in helping to build the green economy in your own community?
Great video, but all I hear are "promises" of a Green Economy. I have been looking for a job for a year, but even with a degree in horticulture, greenhouse management, ecological technician, and relational database skills no one wants to hire me. I am not alone. All I've heard about from the Executive and Legislative branches is talk, talk, talk, talk. Good video, though.
