Hey i also have one but its on my left hand, left arm, and 1/3 on my shoulder and its been 17 years since i've had it. How many days did it take for yours to fade when you got it lasered? :D

Awesome! I have to get about 200 zaps on mine if the do the whole thing. Not fun during, but seems to keep things from getting worse. Rock on, my "birthmark buddy"!

@cadaverock It does fade, although many people need dozens and dozens of treatments. Even then, you don't get 100% clearing, and you have to have yearly touch ups. The birthmark comes back.

I have so much respect for you ! You seen like a really nice guy and your absaloutely gorgeous! I have a birthmark too .. On my ear .. Except mines a mole , I absaloutely hate it and I can't remove it without reconstructing my ear , so I just decided to leave it.. I'm so happy your getting treatment and I wish you the best of luck.! :)

have they told you that it will be gone? after how many more treatments is cause i keep hearing stories about people saying all the time ,that they cannot remove it 100% i dont know how your birthmark used to look before but .,i have one very big on my face and when its cold it looks purple. and kind of swollen looking on one side ,one time i went for acne treatment to the derm. doctor and he mention to me about my birth mark and he said ,for that it will be expensive and i dont guaranty it

I have one on my cheek and neck. I love it though. It makes me unique. I used to go to Shriner's Hospital for Children (which is completely free for patients under 18) sense I was three up until last month. Lasers hasn't really helped me the past couple of years so I quit and I may start back up sometime, it just depends on what I want to do. Its amazing seeing other people with the same thing as me. I don't meet many people with it.

i have the same thing on my cheek but it goes from my cheek bone going up to the back of my head..... and people ask me the same exact thing it gets really annoying!!
