On Saturday, February 7th 2009, the raging fires in Victoria completely destroyed his unique forest creation taking over 300 paintings and sculptures.
As you take a walk through the forest, please take a moment to reflect on the beauty gone and the many people who have lost their homes, their loved ones, their livelihoods, the severely injured, the animal life and the dedicated fire fighters,police, civilians, and those involved in caring for the traumatized and injured. Thank you.

I have been here and its a short drive form Melbourne. Talk about going into another world. Go with the family, friends or whaetever...if you don't like it I will pay for your admission!

of the 29 shown here: 10 are fine! stil there - just have new expressions! 5 are being fixed that i know of, 10 im not sure about, 4 most likely gone (like lady in lake)....
go there see for your self! :)

I went there once as a child. I am devistated. I am only so glad that there are video's like this to remind me. My heart is with the people who have suffered from the devistation in the area.

I would love to go there, but I live on the Qld/NSW border. Sadly it's too far away. I would like to think that many these sculptures have either survived or been repaired.

I can't be 100% sure but I think it's Tony O'Connor and the music could be Rainforest Magic. Do a google search and listen to some of his music, it's wonderful.

This is only a small section of the forest garden and sculptures. Anything that the fire didn't destroy was crushed by falling trees. Very sad!!

I don't know. Sorry! It is very relaxing though. Thanks for watching this video. Very sad to think the fire destroyed all this in about 10 minutes.
