That's kind of the point of the aria, expressing the anger Fiordiligi feels. You don't write A's below middle C for Sopranos unless you want that effect. I'm assuming Mozart probably knew that.

Who cares about the sharp change in register as long as it is for the dramatic and artistic reasons. Opera without theatrical acting of the voice belongs on the concert stage. Usually it is a bore as well unless the artist has a way to comunicate with the listerner. Just a beautiful voice is not enough.
