Far Cry 2 on my PC (HD)

This is the beginning of the game Far Cry 2, which is running on my PC, everything maxed 100%. The game's pretty well optimized, and has the best graphics after Crysis. By the way, this is 2009 and I still don't see any game being even close to Crysis graphics-wise.

FPS with FRAPS: Never below 30fps.
FPS without FRAPS: Always above 55+fps.

Note that in addition, I now have 4GB Ram 800Mhz instead of 2GB. Made gaming noticeably smoother.

the game runs really good, im still thinking about buying one. but from looking at your aspect ration, i can tell you are using 1280x1024, which is still a good resolution

Yeah because I wanted the video to be HD but then I realised it's all about compression which is why I'm now able record videos @ HD at any resolution I want.

In case you're worried, it easily runs maxed out at 40-45 fps. Greatly optimised.

8800gtx sounds like an extremely promising graphics card, but im getting a new processor and new power supply first. but there is NO where to buy one in arizona :O i dont wanna use ebay, but i might have to

Well I got mine from eBay to be honest, brand new, sealed in its box, with no problems.

The 8800GTX is pretty much the same in performance as the 9800GTX, and it plays Crysis maxed out (the most demanding game yet) so yeah I could say it's very promising.
