  • I hate Diabetes and Im scared of losing limbs, eye sight, and more. I really hate it. Dr. Oz only helps those that are rich or celebrities.

  • (continued from previous post) There are plenty of very qualified professionals that can attest to the efficacy of a restricted carbohydrate approach in the control and reversal of diabetes. You have Harvard educated science journalist Gary Taubes and nutrition and anthropology professor Dr. Loren Cordain who attest to this. You also have Drs. Michael and Mary Eades, as well as Dr. Richard Berstein who have used carbohydrate restriction to cure diabetic patients in their own practices.

  • (continued from previous post) So with the elimination of all refined and whole carbohydrates, what you have left are healthy fats, from things like olive oil and avocados, proteins from animal sources, and lots of vegetables. Use fruit sparingly, because they have high sugar content. If you eat a diet devoid of grain based carbohydrates, as I mentioned in the previous post, on top of losing weight, you will also get your blood sugar in check.

  • One of the best ways to reverse Type 2 diabetes, aside from losing weight, is to reduce total carbohydrate consumption by eliminating first any form sugars like what is found in sodas, candies, cakes and cookies. Secondly, remove starches like breads, pastas, and rice, even if they are "whole grain", because all carbohydrates, whether coming from refined sources or whole grain, turn very quickly into sugar in your digestive system, thus causing your insulin regulatory system to go haywire.
