  • just cried my soul out

  • @omentummajus I'm glad you get it. This song paired with Elvis (for whom it was written) always has the same affect on me.

  • yo thumb a lift there edge

  • great video and a great U2 song, it was played in the movie rattle and hum when they were soaking up the music history in memphis, and Elvis is cool today

  • Thank you so much. Not very many people get it, as you can tell from the posts. I'm glad you do.

  • fantastic clip, great song, thank you for this amazing share

  • Apparently the Army had grand plans to use Elvis for entertainment purposes. He said something along the lines of, fuck that--you got my ass but I'll do straight time as a grunt. There was a fair amount of conjecture regarding whether or not he could salvage his career when released from the military. Two years is a space of time in pop culture. Sam Phillips had been delighted to sell EP's contract to RCA for $30,000--he figured he had a long line of Elvises banging on the door of 706 Union.

  • 0:56 Rosie O'Donnell?

  • @BearStar1 You are certainly bitter and seem to seek confrontation. I am not a preacher. I NEVER "diss" Elvis Presley. Do not know why you harp on that and wrongly accuse me. How many years you have lived is not an issue here; but, FYI I am proficient with math and am nearer age of Elvis than you ..... so, at least be respectful ..... AND, find somebody who wants to "fight" about nothing because I am not the one you seek.

  • @trei3000 Well, Preacher or not, you said some facts that were NOT True! I have been a devoted and loyal fan of Elvis since I was 5 years old , I'm now almost 62, so you do the Math! And I was not being mean to anyone, just attempting to correct YOUR mistakes ! FYI, My G'ma passed away in 1995, and I'm NOT negative or angry about anything ,other than misinformed people always dissing on Elvis! And the only ones that Elvis is not pleased with are the idiots that write lies about him!

  • @BearStar1 I am not "kennel blind" and just state facts ..... truth ..... even about dear Elvis. READ my profile. I am not a child, likely nearer age of Elvis than yours. I could "whine" or lash back at you for how hateful you have been to me here ..... for the world to see. Your grandma must truly be proud of your meanness to me. She hangs her head in shame, as she prays for your miserable soul, as I must do, in obedience to "our Daddy." I have to forgive you! Elvis is not pleased.

  • @BearStar1 Everyone DOES NOT curse, not even once in a while! I have never! I do not get angry. I NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL "diss" Elvis Presley ..... careful such slander. I have everything good to say about Elvis and will one day have special ministry founded on Jesus Christ and based on Elvis Presley. You should re-read what I typed and pray that God free you of negativity. Anger kills, physically and spiritually. Live in love, or not at all. Ask grandma about that .....

  • @trei3000 Elvis NEVER did drink Alcohol! And he only smoked those little cigars , occasionally! And everyone cusses once in awhile, especially when they are angered about something! Stop dissing on Elvis! If YOU don't have anything good to say, then don't say anything at all! That's what My grandma always use to say!

  • Wow.

Thank you for sharing this with us.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • WOWWWWWWWWW ELVIS AND MY FAVORITE BAND! THANKS
