This video is no longer necessary! The dispute with Warners over the soundtrack seems to have been resolved, and so now you can watch the original version instead here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pbLL0LNf2o
I had problems with the other version - Warner Brothers removed the entire soundtrack because it considered that part of it infringed its copyrights. Here then is an alternative version with different music.
With the four reels of film I won with my fourth film, "Prax Warrior", I made this film when I was fifteen. Amazingly enough, it was shot in someone's back garden in Hanwell, Ealing, although from the look of it you could be forgiven for thinking it deep in the countryside rather than suburban London. In a couple of shots, you can see the golf course in the background, and you get glimpses of buildings too.
It was shot over four weekends, which were spaced far apart, and so the weather ranges from sunny to icy, which was not optimal for continuity. The sword-play is somewhat second or third rate, I admit, but I was young and that's my excuse. The swords were made from aluminium stilts. The rectangular shield was made from a picnic table.
The ending when you see the knight's face when he removes his helmet is not deep and meaningful. It is just something I put in for the sake of ending with a twist.

i like how the assumed good guy or the main characer dies in the end, it gives it a feel of reality and it stays away from the whole hollywood theme of"GoodGuysAlwaysWin"
5stars:)

Another cliche is "main character must be the good guy". He is a lone wanderer whose first reaction on being discovered is to grab his weapons and run.

From, for example, 4:10, the music could be in a Peter Greenaway film... maybe?
Where's the map?

I'm sure you're right, but I don't hear the similarity so clearly. The music is synthesisers and drums, which is not obviously Nymanic. You are right about the map. It seems that only I, the video's uploader, get to see the map, which leaves me wondering what the point of this is.

Central shield grip... you were pedantic even then... :p
Nice video!

This comment shows familiarity with my later work. Yes, I had a centre grip, but you'll see that my hand was not in a hollow, but holding a handle on the back of the shield. This slightly different position made a huge difference in the awkwardness of the shield. I later made a metal boss for it and cut out a handle.
