My 57 year old knees actual feel better after ATG squats. I'm not pulling this weight, however, but the full range has improved my knee functionality.

Forms pretty good on the first one but then you start to lose it around rep 3; see how your ass starts to shoot backward? It's not a huge problem and probably due to fatigue, just keep in mind: you the bar to come up with your hips, not after. Cheers, keep rockin' the irons

@pmartR1 Acctually I just want to add to all those great points that in order for you to squat with your ass on the floor, your femur (thigh bone) would have to be almost 150% the length of your Tibia/Fibula (shinbone). So unless he looks like a freak with proportions like that then I would have to say there is no way he can do that...

ATG squats all the way. It's just a shame so many idiots protest that this is bad for your knees, when if anything it's better for your knees than going "parallel".
