If you want to jump to the action go to 4:20 and 7:11.
Here's the second video, post corneal flap creation. Most of this video is dark, basically they're positioning my head under the laser and taping back my eyelashes.
You can watch them pull back the corneal flaps. After that it goes dark, thats when the laser starts doin' its bit. You can smell a burnt hair type smell as the laser runs. That's it cooking my eye balls. After that, they flip the flap back in place and lubricate the eye.
Just FYI, they marked my right eye with some red dye dots, as that was the one with a slight astigmatism. I'm not entirely sure what purpose the marking served (maybe to reminder them to set the laser to something different to compensate for the astigmatism).
Overall its been only a day, but I can see sooooo much better now. Thanks to Dr. Hoopes and the whole Hoopes Vision team. Also thanks to my regular eye doctor, Brendon White; as awesome an Ophthalmologist as ever there was.
