You have to disclose any personal connections in any interview, no matter how non political it may be. That is one of the first standards of journalism. Not that Matthews would know anything about it because he is not a journalist. He has an editorial show, and opinion show. It is not straight news. I'm fine with that as long as he doesn't pretend that what he is doing is covering the news. But he needs to disclose any personal relationship.

the problem is that he needs to discuss issues that are important and often he talks about what strategy this pol is doing and will it work. we need to discuss important things. Why are we at war in two muslim countries? Whose agenda does it serve? Is it in america's interest?

It hardly matters if Christ Matthews was interviewing his daughter, and it's also because his daughter told him not to credit her.

I think you can hear the girl say "I love you daddy" at like the 2:00 mark. I hope that was Matthews daughter and not some random Ole Miss girl calling him daddy. Lol.

I don't Watch Chris Matthews, but even I have to say, FishbowlDC Vetting standards are lower than a Local Tech Newsletter.
