MANILA, Philippines - After a year-long preparation, young actress Roxanne Guinoo and businessman Elton Yap tied the knot on Sunday afternoon at Sanctuario de San Antonio at Forbes Park in Makati City.

The intimate ceremony was attended by the couple's families and closest friends in and outside of show business.

Among the principal sponsors were cosmetic surgeon Vicki Belo, television host Boy Abunda, beauty queen-actress Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach and Diamond Star Maricel Soriano.

Guinoo's closest showbiz friends, Regine Angeles and Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, were among the secondary sponsors.

Shortly after the church ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests proceeded to NBC tent in Taguig City where the reception was held.

"Wala na, wala na akong masasabi, I'm so happy," Guinoo, who gave birth to a baby girl prior to their wedding, said.

Though it's a dream come true for her to become a wife and mother, Guinoo said she will never leave her showbiz career.

To those some people who are asking if how many children does Roxanne and Elton have?

Answer: Just 1 and that is their cute daughter Baby Rain Eliana Guinoo-Yap. So, I don't know why some people are speculating that they have 2 kids! Which is absolutely absurd since Roxanne's first born is baby Rain. So there!

roxanne did i great job in showbusinezz.. kahit na pinili nya na mag stop, worth it naman ang naging ending.. roxanne, fan mo ko since noong nag auaudition ka pa sa star cirle quest.. naaalala ko pa nung mag papalaki ka ng boobs pag nanalo ka sa loto.. hahaha.. i like u na dun pa lang.. i voted you hundred times... i just hope na maging masya ka forever.. im still ur fun until i die.. no matter what.. kikilalanin kita bilang isang mahusay na artista!
