"Islam calls for the fighting of a specific group of Jewish people in 'Bayt al Maqdis' aka Jerusalem when Judgement day arrives'

Mmm, so why is it that they group all Jews together in the Hamas Charter...? I would love to believe you, but it's simply inconsistent with every English translation of the Charter.

There are other things I would like your opinion about, but this char. limit is extremely annoying. Could you PM me?

  • @theoldspicestuff Islam calls for the fighting of a specific group of Jewish people in 'Bayt al Maqdis' aka Jerusalem when Judgement day arrives lol. How does this relate to today? My position is that when judgement day does come, if it ever does, we will know it. For now, its irrelevant and Hamas 'believes' that a day like that will once happen.

No where in the Quran or under Hamas is any one advocating the killing of random Jewish people.

  • @GamerDudester

"The part about the rock and the trees is actually in the Islamic faith."

-- Wait, so are you conceding that Islam calls for its followers to "come on and kill (the Jews)"? This would be extraordinarily inconvenient for your position, so I doubt it is (or it is, and you're just not being frank about it since, by your own admission, you're emotionally tied to the subject at hand).

  • @GamerDudester

Initially, you invite the challenge about my citations of the Hamas Charter. How come you aren't able to accept what the Charter explicitly states (indeed, I'm even quoting from a pro-Palestine website).

Again, I'm ambivalent on entitlement to land and whatnot, but I despise dodges and dishonesty wherever they're present. If your statement was true, then why is it that every English translation I've come across states otherwise?

  • @theoldspicestuff Hamas doesn't have a problem against all Jews lol. Hamas has a problem with recognizing the legitimacy of Israel. Mahatma Ghandi said once that he accepted the reality of Pakistan, but that he didn't accept the legitimacy of Pakistan. There is a big difference there. Hamas stands the same on Zionist Israel. It has no issues against Jews in general, but by 'Jews' the Quran makes a reference to the 'sons of Israel' not 'Jews'.

  • @theoldspicestuff The part about the rock and the trees is actually in the Islamic faith. It signals the day of judgement. Now while they believe this, as a Muslim, I can tell you that Islam advocates working with what you have in the day, not waiting for a predetermined event to occur. So this is as much of a general statement as anything =p

  • @GamerDudester

    etc.

I'm not sure where I stand quite yet on the issue of entitlement, but it's unequivocal that Hamas isn't against Zionism, as you claim, but against all Jews.

I would love a discussion where you could prove me wrong -- I don't want to believe this to be true.

  • @GamerDudester

Right, so you've read the parts where it states:

"For our struggle against the Jews is extremely wide-ranging and grave, so much so that it will need all the loyal efforts we can wield"

"The time will not come until Muslims will fight the Jews (and kill them); until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: O Muslim! there is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him! This will not apply to the Gharqad, which is a Jewish tree (cited by Bukhari and Muslim)"

  • @theoldspicestuff As a matter a fact I have. Ask away.

  • @GamerDudester

Have you read the Hamas Charter?
