IPhone apps don't generally require internet access once they are downloaded but you may find that some of the icons may not appear. However, the programme should still be fully functional without these icons but please let me know if you have any probelms.

what a rip-off!!!! I made a huge mistake purchasing this App for i am very new to Iphone and didn't know about other Dic. Apps. Anyway, there are other Dic. Apps that are either free or cost only .99 cents or $1.99 and they are way better than this crap.

the quiz feature of this App is a joke!!!!!! i hate myself for waisting my $ buying this App and am trying to get Itune App store to get my money back. Please don't make the same mistake as i did and waist your $ and time buying this App.

@PearsonLongmanELT This response is not absolutely accurate. The Longman Actuve Study Dictionary app, including the icons, will not be affected if you have no network access - it's a completely offline app.
