Jason Bellchamber shows the 6 steps in drawing a simple Celtic Triskele knot. The earliest instance is from the Meigle Stone from Scotland from the late 6th Century. This simple Pictish trillium knot is found later in the Book of Kells, the Book fo Linsdisfarne and the Book of Durrow. For more info visit Www.Bellchamber.net

  • The Triskele is actually a greek symbol wich was later adopted by by the Gauls and the insular Celts, you can find it on the flag of the Isle of Man and the one of Sicily (a former greek colony), while the Triquetra is the one you drew, a fantastic job otherwise, it really got me inspired, thank you.

  • New favorite doodle?

  • This is a really nice way of doing that particular knot!
