The Blair Admendment was a very dangerous bill that for all intensive purposes would have seriously eroded our freedom of religion. It proposed a law that would institutionalize the observance of Sunday and cause all in our Republic to eventually attend church by force, if necessary. A Seventh Day Adventist lawyer successfully counteracted the bill and it was tabled. But the threat remains.
