Just to clear everything up.
Jew is a name given to the descendants of the tribe of Judah (Yehudah in Arabic).
Judah are only 1 of the 12 tribes of Jacob (Israel).
But now only mainly the tribe of Judah survives, so their religion became also known as Judaism.
Think about it, what religion did Abraham follow before Moses even wrote the Torah??
