More Ulster Scots Culture
Now the lasses they were showing that they had the kind of skills
That was handed round the farmyard to feed the threshing mill.
Blue painted eyes and lipstick, well it maybe does do no harm.
But being handy with a yard brush is more use around the farm.
Big Ellie May McCallion she was looking for a man
And to show what she was made of she had five buckets in every hand.
Ulster Scots Culture:

No. We were making quare arrangements for the slurry spreaders ball.
We had gallon jars of porter, we had corned beef by the stone
We had currant loafs and sodas. To the table legs they'd grown.
Now the band was Willie Drennan and two boys from Donegal
And they set the crowd a hopping at the Slurry Spreaders Ball.
