The opening theme music from "What's New Mr. Magoo?" from 1977.

Lyrics:

What's New, Mr. Magoo?
What new and wild adventure have you bumped into?
You are a man of stature,
In your hat you're 5 foot 3.
You'd be a man of vision,
If only you could see!

What's New, Mr. Magoo?
My, but your dog McBarker looks a lot like you!
He'd be a good night watch dog,
But he's nearsighted too!

From your peculiar point of view,
This crazy world's a blur to you!
Oh say, can you see What's New, Mr. Magoo?

  • I watch whats new Mr. Magoo when I have Time Warner Cable. This show is funny.

  • Jim Backus, the voice of Mr. Magoo, was stricken by Parkinson's Disease halfway through the first season. Because of this, the show only lasted just 13 episodes in that only season alone. He died after a courageous 12 year battle from Parkinson's.

  • I'll admit the theme was catchy, and they had McBarker (the mutt) look and "sound" like Magoo, but that show's odd(actuallty, Barker sounds more like Droopy., aka Bill Thompson, and is voiced by storyman Bob Ogle, ..but ironically NEVER was Bob Ogle used to reprise that voice of Droopy either for HB or MGM!!

  • Im going to nickname my Son Mr Magoo, hes a sweetheart, but he Ambylopia, which you can't tell by looking at his eyes, but you can tell when he acts clumsy.

  • is this even real

  • what the hell is this

  • Freaking Sweet

  • I was in the US Navy the year this show was on, so I never saw it. However, from the looks of it, I prefer the early-60s Magoo cartoons.

  • @Bizarronumber4 Indeed he was.
