RC (and real) hovercraft, Hovercraft Musem, Lee on Solent, Hampshire, UK.

A look at some large scale model radio control hovercraft operating at this museum during an open day, and a sweeping 360degree view of just some of the many hovercraft of all ages, (they have 60 in total!) shapes and sizes on display at this museum. They range anything from tiny one man scooter sized ones, through the classic and popular SRN6, 'Winchester' class, (both seen here in model form and full size in sweeping view) to the largest hovercraft in the world, the giant 4-engined SRN4 'Mountbatten' class of 300 tons, 500 passenger and car capacity, of which the museum has two examples. Well worth a visit and a credit to the volunteers who procured them for preservation.

@W241OGF When you say twin prop, which one? SRN6 or the other? Both most impressive models, but the SRN6 I lked espesially.
