4 15" Audiopipes on only 3300wrms!! HAIR TRICK

4 15" Audiopipe TXX-APXs, on a single AP3000.1 at 2ohm, this set up did a 150.1db sealed at the windshield, box tuned at 29hz, this is last years setup!! Gunna be using this box, with all new Crescendo Audio amps around 9kw for my new daily setup, unsure on the new subs fat this time! Stay tuned!

I don't get why people are all about quantity over quality when it comes to the sound in your car. A single, expensive, powerful sub and amp setup coupled with some high-end mids sounds a lot clearer and more powerful than a multi-sub setup. If you just want to have a lot of noise, yeah that works. But for quality sound you should not be putting in more than one sub. All the extra subs do is drown out everything else with reverb. Poor sound quality. Attention seekers=noobs.

@bliss0512 LOL I do agree with you that sound quality is better over just loud, but when you compete then its fun to get more cone area with less power!! And theres guys like Steve Meade, and Johnathon Price, that have alot of cone area and then massive mids and highs that sound amazing!!

She wasnt sitting in front of the port, she was on the right side of the Tahoe, port was on the left side of the Tahoe, this system was simply built to be no.1 in my class in the Midwest Spl circuit, and guess what, it was and guess what still is!!! @bliss0512 you ever been in a vehicle that can do 155+ db and still compete in sq due to 3 grand worth of mids and highs to match the level of sub output? quantity = quality if done right. The camera also makes a huge difference when filmed, I've seen videos of my truck that suck because the equipment used to film it sucks. when it comes to sound you cant attribute everything you see on youtube to a shitty setup. 150 is a good number for a 4 year old setup. spl or not.

@MADSPL154db I can understand the competitive nature in people wanting to go for just pure db... but that seemed like the guy's personal car. He might like it as it is, i'm sure, but I feel quality is a lot more desirable than just quantity. Quantity without quality = noise. Quantity with quality = music.
