Pierre Van Dormael (May 24, 1952 -- September 3 2008), born in Brussels (Uccle)) was a Belgian guitarist.

In 1988, he played with the James Baldwin Project with a.o. David Linx and Deborah Brown (vocalists), Slide Hampton (trombone), Diederik Wissels (piano), Bob Stewart (tuba) and Michel Hatzigeorgiou (bass). Van Dormael was also a member of Nasa Na Band, a jazz band known as the precursor of Aka Moon. He also made soundtracks for movies directed by his brother Jaco Van Dormael (Toto le Héros, Le Huitième Jour, Mr. Nobody).

In 2007, he received the Belgian Django d'Or award.

He died from a cancer at 56, the 3rd September 2008.

Mr. Nobody is a 2010 science fiction drama film directed by Jaco Van Dormael; and starring Jared Leto, Diane Kruger, Linh Dan Pham, Sarah Polley, Natasha Little, with Rhys Ifans and Daniel Mays. It began filming in June 2007.

  • @MrConiedark yeah you're right, the song is "undercover". but i can't find this for download. I've found 5 minute improvised version, unfortunately that is not the same with this one

  • @vIliTo268 No, not necessarily because there's a problem with the movie. It might be just a marketing issue, I heard Mr. Nobody doesn't have a US distributor yet..... :(
