This movie, this story. it really made me think. What if? What if there was an alternate universe where you and another person had such a deep and meaningful love for each other, and somehow, in this one, you just walk by each other totally unaware that that person could have made you so happy? What if that is why we are "drawn" to a person without knowing why? I wonder who my Gretchen Ross is...:( I love this movie

@3MPTYM3LODI3S It was because she truly didn't. that was only in the tangent universe that was destroyed. But these things that happened in that alternate universe were a dream for her the night before, so in her dream, she did know him, she did love him and they did date, but in the universe that she was presently in, the one where he dies, she did not know him. But the name did sound familiar to her, that is why she hesitated.

Infinite sads. I mean, she meant everything to him, he meant everything to her.... in another universe. He never lived long enough to meet her. It's a great love story. And horror story. And message. FUCK IT THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME.

I dunno why, but the ending of this movie reminded me of this guy I used to know.

He came from an upper middle class family. But, he was sort of crazy. He was known for wandering around the university in the middle of the night. One day, for what ever reason, he attempted suicide. I remember the scene, everyone was gathered around the university, as he was carried out on a stretcher . There was this sense, this atmosphere, that something was just really, really off.
