heh...normal cat behavior. A kitten will usual attack food like this even beyond its thresh hold to hold food. That's why its advised to make sure you feed it a controlled about...don't be fooled by this little act. Its probably his fifth serving that hour!

Are you feeding him enough? He's going at it like he's half starved. Even when the bowl goes empty he's still very hungry. Poor kitty.
