Never heard this before...very lovely..thank you for posting...Johnny Mathis is my idol of all time...Love him! Jane in Ohio

Johnny first came onto the musical scene when I was a junior or senior in high school with "Misty," about 1960 or 1961.
Every song he recorded for years was the epitome of romance and 'must have' in your collection or on (Reel to Reel) tape, especially in college. He was the background to many memorable evenings.

Play something from the album "This Is Love" like "You Love Me" and "Limehouse Blues" I dare you. lol

Johnny isn't cursed to sing a bad song.

What year was this please?

I just discovered this when I was listening to the Four Freshmen; JM seems to pop up everywhere, he must have sung every song ever written. Love him to death...he is priceless. Love JM's version bestest of alllll. Thank you so much for posting this jewel. God bless

Herb Jeffries owns this song. johnny does his usual smooth as silk notes, but and here is the but; he sounds like a flute
calling not a lover yearning for his object of love.
This voice......riding along on rails of the finest satin..

Oh, no, nothing sung by Johnny Mathis is a forgotten by me but thanks for your wonderful posting, maybe someone with music taste will find the joy of hearing the Master sing real music.

I wouldn't be surprised is there was some sort of Johnny Mathis resurgence. I mean he's still popular among certain generations, but new ones could discover him and suddenly he's making the rounds again.

I know, isn't that a great song? I knew it was a hit in its day as soon as I heard it.
