  • this is 5000 BC village

  • interesting history of greek underwater history! what a research! Go 5 years of underwater exploration!

  • People need to realize that when tv crews come and film things they like to say that this is the oldest this, or the largest that. I'm sure Dwarka is a wonderful site, but there is no need to start a beef on this page.

  • @legitfreek Sri Krishna According the Vedas he incarnated 5000 years ago In India for destroying the demonic influences on earth and fight the epic battle of Kuruksetra!....NOT OLDER MY FRIEND!

  • Correction.Dwarka is the worlds oldest submerged city. Its not even a town. Its bigger than that.Lack of funding and bad waters prohibits extensive diving in the arabian sea. On another note the tsunami uncovered 4 temples half a mile away from the coast of Chennai that are believed to be about 11000 years old and are a part of a 7 temple complex with the remaining 3 that are still functional on land.Read Graham Hancock 'Underworld' for his extensive research on ancient submerged Dwarka.

  • In India we pray in 1500 yr old temples near where I live - its considered normal not an architectural find. Dwarka has submerged 6-7 times and has always been reconstructed. The first city was linked to the Harrapan civilization - some consider it to be older than 8000 yrs.

  • Wrong Im afraid - Dwarka is only about 1500 years old. Whats your evidence?

  • totally
