Keyboard Drums - Genesis Medley

Keyboard Drumming...yeah baby...its the future :) haha

anyhooooo....not having enough space for a proper drum kit i've taken to using my poor Korg X5 to dole out some harsh treatment on, so far its taking the punishment well :)

This is my first go at recording something so mistakes a plenty im afraid but hey ho, you know what they say, practice makes perfect....bloody hard trying to do drum rolls and paradiddles on one key ya know!!! :)

The track here is a medley of Genesis stuff, using a pre-done MIDI track being played though my Roland JV30. I've edited it to be a bit more like they do live, with one drummer playing parts of the track then two, Genesis fans will know what I mean! The medley is taken from 3 sides live and includes The Cinema Show, In That Quiet Earth, The Colony of Slippermen and ending in Afterglow.

Please go easy on me, i'm a youtube virgin ya know :) (and this is my very first attempt)

hehe, not quite. if u know the track and seen genesis do it live u will understand it starts as solo and turns into duet on drums hence why after a min and half or so u hear the 2nd set come in.
