What? Rush is a Hypocrite? Really? WOW, I knew that when I was forced to listen to his drabble during a 3 hr. work engagement I had in a man's home working on his room addition. Pretty easy to figure out even by a common man like myself. But then, I didn't suspend the thinking part of my brain while listening. People should understand that he is just entertainment, not information.

Well, Rush is not a garden-variety drug addict. He got addicted to opiates through drug prescriptions. Therefore, this makes him a whining VICTIM who is not responsible for his actions. But I am sure this won't stop him and his ilk from continuing to label liberals as whiners and victims. Typical conservative: (Drug) laws are for controlling other people.

First of all, you have no idea what are Rush's thought patterns and reasons for continuing his drug use. Secondly, most junkies don't get to choose their parents or what neighborhood they grow up in. There are no kids out there that say "I want to be a junkie when I grow up." But Rush isn't intelligent and/or compassionate enough to care about anyone but himself. How you could defend him is beyond me.
