I grew up in Texas and I bought this when it first came out. They used to play this song at Numbers night club in Houston and we would go friggin nuts. Excellent music.

wow! Youtube is great! I never thought I'd see this video again.... One night I fell asleep with the TV on. Half awake, I heard this video playing on some music video show. All I remember were his teeth... and of course the song. This was in the late 80s... it was kind of hard to find the album. The guy at the mall record store thought I was joking when I said,"do you have Mc 900 foot Jesus with DJ Zero Hell with the Lid off?"

@900heyzeus Iwas the biggest fan as a kid going through my mid teens, trying to get my mates to love this album like i did. the cover actually scarred me a little at the time :) bigup, to me this was the first rapper on that sick shit, nobody else was doin!

Power saw? Nope. Never happened. I did have one ass-kickin' prop in the early days, though. It was a bonafide straight jacket, not from a costume shop, but the real deal. Me and Zero were on our way to the UK for some live dates, without a real concept for a live show. Backing up a bit, I'd just signed to Nettwerk. I had an EP out on my own label: Gonga, never intending to do live shows. Now I had a record deal and live shows were inescapable. Remember, MC 900 FT JESUS was solely a vinyl concept

@900heyzeus I've got footage of that from your Trees show in...uh...1990? It's on VHS, I have yet to figure out how to convert it properly to digital. Soon, hopefully.
