  • wow that´s a great thing

i tried to get an evi but i don´t have a clou

    where from...

i always get that ewi offered

do you have any suggestions for me?

    thank you very much

  • Hi vzisolo.

Check out patchman music for useful links. The current EWI is easy to adapt to as it has a very well thought out EVI fingering mode. Good luck !

  • hi jazzliam.. great vid.

could you make a video how to setup your external synths to get those velocity-switch data in order to bring in chords or explain a little more? i´ve got an ewi usb and some synth like access virus and kawai k5000s. do i need transformers like in cubase or logic? thanks a lot for sharing this.

  • I'm not familiar with your hardware but in general, assuming you have a multitimbral module. In performance mode assign all voices to same MIDI channel as EWI. Leave one voice to respond to velocity values 0-127 and do not detune. Now detune each of the other voices until you have the chord type you're after. Then, set a lower velocity limit on each detuned voice to about 70 (experiment with this).Set filter to respond to cc2 so you have dynamic control. Make sure EWI is sending VARIABLE velocity

  • Nord Micro Modular, Kontakt 2, Akai Headrush 2 delay and Digitech JamMan. Choir samples from web (Native Instruments I think). Spanish male vocal from own CD collection.

    Many thanks for the comment.
