The producer said we will take bond back to the early films,he clearly hasnt the early films had gadgets and q now james bond is just a normal action film.

they were close to having a bond with an american accent.They were very

close.It was a guy named james brolin.I might be saying his name wrong but

if you saw his screen test you would be impressed.But they did'nt think he

people would accept him because he was american.But you never know that

might change because it all goes down to performance.

@58fenix thats just dumb to look at it this way, when craig got cast a lot of people said he didn't look like a bond because he was blonde, it didn't mean they were racist they just felt it strayed too far from the other bonds, so how does someone saying that money penny was not black make him a racist, he is just commenting based on the previous installments.

If they had a bond with an american accent you would comment on it also, saying bond wasn't american, does that make you a racist?

@treutech Regardless of my opinion on whether she should be or not, if Moneypenny were to be black, this movie would be the time to do it because most people consider Craig and Casino Royale as a fresh start or a renewal if you will. I really don't see a problem with it because it' not as if she was a very prominent character. If we were talking Bond or M or a main character like that then yes, I'd say changing their race would just stray too far from the Bond Ian Fleming imagined.
