Just me playing Nocturne Opus 9 Number 2 in Eb Major by Frederic Chopin. I tried to keep it from sounding overly happy since it's a nocturne, though with this particular piece it's easy to play it that way. I was going for more of a bittersweet feel this time around, though I'm not sure just how successful I was. In any case, I hope you enjoy!

Thanks for watching, please rate and comment. =)

  • nice playing man, does that piano have wooden white keys or plastic,is it well built piano good weight to it or light.

  • @paulallen34

Hi there. The key tops are plastic and I think the piano weighs around 50lbs but I'm not sure exactly. It seems very sturdy though, I've had it for a little over a year and haven't had any keys go out or become stuck.

  • good, just turn down the reverb a bit to make it sound more crisp, just my opinion. And maybe a bit more rubato throughout.

  • @Eric1029res

Thanks. You are absolutely correct, the reverb in many of my videos was way too high and it turned out I had the damper resonance cranked up, wish I could go back and change them. I've turned it down for my more recent videos (except for intentional cases like the Vangelis covers) and it's seemed to help.

  • Im thinking about getting the P155, how is the keyboard overall? Does the hammer action feel proper like an acoustic?

And a cool piece I recommend you try is Nocturne 48 no 1 in c minor for you next video.

  • @Eric1029res

I like it. The keys themselves aren't quite as responsive or supple as they are on many good acoustics, they're just a little on the heavy side IMO (doesn't seem to slow down Kyle Landry though, he plays really insane fast passages on his P-155). They are better than most digital pianos that I've tried. Though if it's possible I'd recommend finding a store where you can see for yourself.

As for the Nocturne, I really love that one but it's way out of my league. =P

Care to share the correct chords / notes then? What is your experience in this matter? Do you mean to tell me that Yundi Li and every other professional concert pianist is also playing it wrong? I am playing the exact same notes as they are (they have better technique and interpretation but that's another matter) and I didn't miss a single note in the entire recording. Of course you're trolling silly, you're the one that's starved for attention. Nice try though. ;)

  • You play it so lovely. I have been trying to play this for weeks now and only managed the first two lines. I have only been playing for a year and I am 52 do you reckon, with determination, it can be done? Cheers

  • Love it!

  • Would you say that in the price range, in your opinion, the P-155 is an excellent choice? I'm thinking of buying one.

  • Beautiful playing....

i'm a french beginner and have a P155 too, and i wanted to know, what settings did you use? and did the preset song and the thing about "right/left hand" of the piano help you practising?

i dream about playing this as well as you do.

  • Really beautifully played... So lazy learning rest of the sonfg. =/

  • beautiful. i love the way you just dont rush it!! 100 times better than first vid!

  • Well done. First Class!!!!!
