http://www.wsre.org/OilSpill Hosted by Lloyd Patterson, this edition of Connecting the Community focuses on an evolving environmental and economic crisis. A panel of experts discusses the massive Gulf Coast oil spill and its environmental impact on our area, with additional perspective on the economic implications. Viewer questions emailed to WSRE provide citizens the opportunity to hear directly from local experts.

Guests include Dr. Richard Snyder, director of the UWF Center for Environmental Diagnostics and Bioremediation; Keith Wilkins with Escambia County's Neighborhoods and Community Services Bureau; "green" builder Christian Wagley, and Buzz Ritchie with Gulf Coast Community Bank.
