  • @Danny - yes - we just do regular dead hang pull ups at BUD/S. nothing fancy :)

  • @fps; yes; towel pull ups are great for grip strength. Maybe i get off my lazy butt and make a towel pull up vide - thanks

  • Ha-yeah...not on video but she waltzed up and cranked 7 one arm pullups and another 10 with her little brother on her back. Look for her in our next video series SGPT kid superstars

  • good instructive video Brad (and Jake). But I think that girl wants that swing now.

  • @sealgrinderpt Hey Brad, Do you do (or recommend) a lot of weighted vest training (pull ups, push ups, running, etc.)? Also, it would awesome if you could record some swim workout videos ::: Maybe you could share your advise on the combat side stroke, swimming with fins on, and just general swim workout routines integrating some perfect push-up and TRX. Thanks for your service bro

  • Hey Brad, little Mike here with a question on training for BUD/S. Is it ok for me to be running in boots and pants if I'm a strong runner?

  • @MargaritavilleHockey Being that he hasn't answered I'll give you my advice- weighted running is the worst thing you can do to your body. Absolute worst. You'll pay for it in the years to come. It's not necessary for BUD/s preparation, and is costly to your joints, which are obviously one of the most important factors in completion of BUD/s. Joint health. If I were you, (I'm training for BUD/s myself) I would just stick with running on sand, and eventually work up to boots. Just my two cents.

  • @sealgrinderpt i want!

  • @sealgrinderpt Hey, nice video. Are you a SEAL? I was just wondering what exact pull ups guys do at BUD/S.

  • how do you feel about towel pull ups

  • Don't forget Muscle-Ups
