  • Great video. Thanks for putting it together. I can tell you as the battalion commander that all of your Marines did a great job throughout the deployment.

  • Thank you, sir, for bringing them all home safely to us. Our family is proud of each member of the 2/9 for their service.

  • My girlfriends son was part of the 2/9 as well. She was there at LeJeune last weekend for the homecoming. She tells me that "no words can describe the feeling". I was on the other end of homecomings having done 20 years in the Navy. I know what it feels like for them.

Would like to know who sings that song.

  • Glad he made it home safely.

Song is by Daughtry, Daughtry (Deluxe Edition) CD - 2007, Home (Acoustic)

  • Beautiful, Thanks! My son is also 2/9 Echo. So grateful for them, so grateful to have them home!

  • Glad that all of the Marines of the 2/9 made it home safely.
