@hegs100 - In around years 1 and 2 in British schools today they often learn about the Norman invasion of England, after that it goes political! (dull)

@Zanator1 History in British schools tends these days to concentrate on more recent history, less on battles, more on social history (touch of political correctness). There's a Time Commanders book which also covers historical background for all the battles in the first series, including this one - don't know if there ever was one for the series after that.... Like you say though, he's a little kid - seems a bit harsh to demand a background in military history.

@xfsupridex I for one allready knew almost everything they said about that battle, and more about outside subjects related to the battle, and that little kid didnt even know his own british history, they all just stood there like they were hearing something new!
