  • Thanks very much for picking up this tune. This is one of my best favourite music. I was just sixteen when I heard this on the radio and recorded on cassette tape but it takes 30 years indeed for me to know what is the title and on which album of Herbie this title is recorded. You just provided an answer to my quesion of the ages..

  • Chicago, summer 82 , The Beach and my lady..Nuff said

  • Just picked this single on a 45 at a Half Price books! This is pretty damn funky!!!!

  • I found this cassette in the parking lot of our local record store in Va. Beach in 1989. I still have it and some poor soul is hating life till this day I bet.

  • I was about thirteen when I heard this on the radio. By the time I hit High school this was the only kind of music I listened to. If it weren't for break dancing I would've never listened to rap music. This was music at it's best. A lot of smooth jazz is weak. Too commercial, and no soul. This song when you close your eyes takes you places. Neo soul to me is the next best thing.

  • how do you spell smooth H-E-R-B-I-E

  • Rod Temperton on the top of his game.

  • Wow ! Great memories . . .

    ?;^)

  • @coachkfan1 LMAO!!! Too cold!

  • THIS LP IS SOOO UNDERRATED AND DISSED BY THE JAZZ CRITICS, HERBIE IS A MUSICIAN'S MUSICIAN-HE'S 'GUMBO'-GREAT TRACK AND LP!
